Dr. Petros Botonis is an Assistant Professor in the School of Physical Education and Sports Science in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. He has published 36 studies in the field of training/physiology and 14 of them related to water polo training with a reference to elite players. He has been working with elite water polo players for ten consecutive years helping players and coaches to win several medals in national and international championships. The years 2019-2024 was performance director/Exercise Physiologist in National Water Polo Team of Greece (men), which won silver medal in Tokyo Olympic Games (2020), bronze medal in the World Championship 2022, and sliver medal in the World Championship 2023. Dr. Argyris Toubekis is a Professor in the School of Physical Education and Sports Science in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. He has published 69 studies in the field of training/ physiology and 14 of them related to water polo training with a reference to elite players and more than 20 studies in swimming training. He has been working with swimmers of various ages and calibers more than 20 years.
