Genome Editing and Nanotechnology-Based Treatment for Breast Cancers delves deeply into the multifaceted nature of breast cancer. It begins with a thorough introduction to the disease, detailing its histological and molecular subtypes and then moves on to explain methods for early detection and imaging techniques. The book also explores various treatment options, focusing on innovative technologies like genome editing and nanotechnology. In its nine sections, the book probes the elements that contribute to breast cancer metastasis and discusses the potential of genome editing tools for creating tailor-made drugs.

Users will find this to be a crucial resource for researchers, graduate students in cancer research and bioinformatics, oncologists, and anyone seeking to expand their understanding of the field.

Ms. Amna Aqeel has completed (M.Phil.) in Biotechnology from Government College University (GCU) Lahore, Pakistan with distinction. She has coordinated with Assistant Professor as a Teaching Assistant at GCU Lahore to teach subjects like “Medical Biotechnology” and “Molecular Techniques in Molecular Biology & Biotechnology”. She assisted in teaching Medical Biotechnology at the BS level, which allowed her to learn about the formulation of personalized medicines for cancers. As a budding researcher she has published 12 scientific papers in reputable international journals and works on research and review papers to make a mark in the field of Biotechnology. Ms. Javaria Zafar has completed her M.Phil. Biotechnology from Government College University (GCU) Lahore with a research dissertation on “Improved catalytic efficiency of bacterial glutamic acid decarboxylase by immobilization on mesoporous silica nanoparticles for stability in the γ-aminobutyric acid synthesis.” This research aimed to provide the basis for the rational drug development of Alzheimer’s disease to restore the level of GABA in the brain. She has published five research and review articles in reputable international journals with an impact of 13. Being a part of the STEM fraternity, she is dedicated to ensuring a healthy life and an inclusive work ecosystem for women in Pakistan. For this purpose, she has recently joined the UNDP’s Mover’s Program as a Facilitator to work on gender disparity and climate justice in Pakistan. In a nutshell, she has the vision to advocate for and contribute to the SDGs on a national and international scale
