Dr. Nabisab Mujawar Mubarak is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, College of Engineering, Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU), Riyadh 11432, Saudi Arabia.He is a scientific reviewer for numerous Chemical Engineering andNanotechnology journals. In research, Dr.Mubarak has published over 450 journal papers and 40 conference proceedings, authored 85 book chapters, and has an H-index of 87. His areas of interest include the synthesis of carbon nanomaterials, the production of magnetic biochar using microwaves, and wastewater treatment utilizing advanced materials. He received the Curtin Malaysia Most Productive Research Award, the Outstanding Faculty of Chemical Engineering Award, the Best Scientific Research Award in London, and the Exceptional ScientistAward in publication and citation by i-Proclaim, Malaysia. Since 2020, he has also been listed among the top 2% of the world’s most influential scientists in the fields of chemistry and energy. The List of the Top 2% of Scientists in the World, compiled and published by Stanford University, is based on international scientific publications, the number of scientific citations for research, and participation in the review and editing of scientific research. Dr. Mubarak is a Fellow Member of the Institution of Engineers Australia, a Chartered Professional Engineer of The Institution of Engineers Australia, and a Chartered Chemical Engineer of the Institute of Chemical Engineering, UK. Dr. Nadeem A Khan is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at King Khalid University, Abha, Saudi Arabia. He worked at Mewat Engineering College as an Assistant Professor from August 1, 2012, to February 23, 2022. He has submitted his Ph.D. from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He also acted as Academic Coordinator of the Civil Engineering department from 2014 to 2017. He is an editorial board member of Nature Journal - Scientific Reports (IF=4.3) and a special issue editor of Springer Journal on Discover Water. His recent accomplishments included 15 Coursera course completion certificates. LWT India and GECL awarded them the Best Young Scientist Award (Male) for their Scientific contribution to Environmental Engineering. He has also served as an external examiner and paper setter at Integral University, Lucknow, and Dehradun Technical University since 2013. Has got his M. Tech. (Civil Engineering) in 2011, and received Honors in Environmental Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University. Mr. Khan was associated with the Ministry of Environment and Forest for two years as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in 2009-11 and also worked with UNICEF as a Research Assistant (RA) on the topic ofGIS mapping andWater quality parameter estimation, including monitoring of the Agra Region for six months in 2012. He has professional experience at DLFLaing’s Rourke India Ltd as a Construction Engineer on an SEZ project in Gurgaon from 2008 to 2009. He qualified for the GATE examinations in 2010. His industry activity areas were post-contract works, reconciliation, planning, and budgeting. His one chapter about SBR wastewater treatment technology was recently published in Lenin Publication. He has attended several conferences, workshops, seminars, and research projects, and has engaged in various research endeavors. He has published 03 Books with International Publishers, 55 papers in SCI, and 15 in National journals. He has also published more than 10 patents in Civil Engineering and water treatment. He is also active in social welfare activities. He is the Joint Secretary of the Environmental Awareness Society, Environsense, which organizes over 25 events. Dr. Eduardo Alberto López-Maldonado is a full-time professor at the Faculty of Chemical Sciences and Engineering at the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC). He obtained his BSc in Chemical Engineering in 2008 from UABC and his PhD in Chemical Sciences in 2012 from the National Technological Institute of Mexico-Tijuana. His doctoral thesis, developed in collaboration with a semiconductor company in Tijuana, received the Best Doctoral Thesis award from the Mexican Society of Electrochemistry in 2013. Since 2017, he has been leading the Biopolyelectrolyte Engineering Research line at UABC, focusing on the extraction and properties of natural biopolymers used as coagulating, flocculating, and chelating agents. Dr. López-Maldonado has participated in numerous funded research projects, with a particular focus on developing multifunctional biopolyelectrolytes for water treatment and reuse. He has presented his research at national and international conferences on Polymer Chemistry, Sustainable Process Development, Environment, and Nanotechnology. He is the author and coauthor of several books, book chapters, and numerous articles in peer-reviewed research journals. He has also been a reviewer for high-impact scientific journals and chaired international research congresses. His dedication and contributions to chemistry and engineering have established him as a leading figure in his area. Dr. López-Maldonado’s research is highly relevant to the field of hazardous materials, as it encompasses the development and application of natural biopolymers and biopolyelectrolytes for effective water treatment, specifically targeting coagulation, flocculation, and chelation to mitigate environmental contaminants. His innovative approaches enhance water quality and promote sustainable water reuse practices, addressing critical ecological management challenges. Additionally, his nanotechnology work involves synthesizing and characterizing nanomaterials designed for pollutant removal and wastewater treatment, contributing to the remediation of hazardous substances. Dr. López-Maldonado also studies the physicochemical properties of polymers to optimize their performance in industrial and environmental processes. Through his investigation of sustainable materials and methods, he aims to develop eco-friendly solutions that support environmental protection and pollution control. Dr. Arshad Husain is an Associate Professor in the Civil Engineering section of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at AligarhMuslim University, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India, with 27 years of teaching experience at various levels in B.Tech (Civil Engineering) and M.Tech programs. (Environmental Engineering) at Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh (U.P.), India, Diploma in Engineering (Civil), Advance Diploma in Environmental Eng, Advance Diploma in Food Technology, B.E.(Evening), and B.Sc.Hons.(Industrial chemistry). He had supervised many projects for the award of a B.E. in Environmental Engineering and a B.Sc. Hons. (Industrial chemistry) course. He had supervised a few M.Tech. Environmental Engineering dissertations. His field of specialization is Environmental Engineering. His research interests include Water Treatment, Biological Wastewater Treatment Processes, Anaerobic treatment & and Advanced Oxidation processes. His doctoral research focused on removing adsorbable organic halides (AOX) fromPulp & and Paper industry wastewater using advanced oxidation processes in combination with biological treatment. He was designated a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, India (FIE). He has organized various international conferences with the University of Toledo, Ohio, USA; La Sierra University, USA; Asia Pacific University, Thailand; and Universiti Technology, Brunei. He has published 52 research papers in International and national journals and conference proceedings of repute. His Google Scholar citations are 301, with an h-index of 7 and an i-10 index of 6. He has published research technical papers in International Journals of repute such as Scientific Reports, Nature Portfolio, Arabian Journal of Chemistry, King Saud University, KSA, Elsevier, International Journal of Smart and Sustainable Built Environment; Emerald Publishing Limited, Asian Journal of Water, Environment and Pollution, International Journal of Water Pollution & Health and International Journal of Desalination and water treatment.He also presented a technical research paper at the 2nd IWA Specialized International Conference, “Ecotechnologies for wastewater treatment-Technical, Environmental & Economic challenges,” in Verona, Italy, organized by the InternationalWater Association (IWA).
