Ron Blankstein, MD, is Associate Director of the Cardiovascular Imaging Program; Director of Cardiac Computed Tomography; Co-Director of the Cardiovascular Imaging Training Program, and Associate Physician in Preventive Cardiology at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He is also Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Immediate Past-President of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. He was recruited by Dr Eugene Braunwald to edit this new title in the Braunwald's Heart Disease Companion series.
