Perkins, Ph.D. is an associate professor and the program coordinator of the Library Science and Learning Technologies programs at Kutztown University. She earned an M.Ed. in art education from Kutztown University and a Ph.D. in teaching, learning, and technology from Lehigh University. She has served as a youth services librarian and a library director in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.
