Features the pathogenesis of many allergic disorders and the genetic contributions to allergic and immunoregulatory disorders. This work is divided into four parts: reviews of positional cloned genes from family studies, gene-environment interactions, gene-by-gene interactions, and future directions.
Significant progress has been made in understanding the pathogenesis of many allergic disorders. In spite of the tremendous complexity, dramatic progress in the past few years has led to an improved understanding of the genetic contributions to allergic and immunoregulatory disorders. This issue is divided into four parts: reviews of positional cloned genes from family studies, gene-environment interactions, gene-by-gene interactions, and future directions.
