Autor

Manuel B. Garcia is a professor of information technology and the founding director of the Educational Innovation and Technology Hub (EdITH) at FEU Institute of Technology, Manila, Philippines. He is a graduate of Doctor of Information Technology from the University of the East and is presently a student of Doctor of Philosophy in Education at the University of the Philippines. His interdisciplinary research interest includes topics that, individually or collectively, cover the disciplines of education and information technology. He is a licensed professional teacher and a proud member of the National Research Council of the Philippines – an attached agency to the country’s Department of Science and Technology (DOST-NRCP). Rui de Almeida, in 2009, completed the Degree in Radiology at the University of Algarve (Portugal). He holds a Master's Degree in Quality Management of Health Services from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Murcia (2015) and a PhD in Health Science from the International Doctoral School of the University of Murcia (Spain, 2020). He is currently the Head of Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy Department at the University of Algarve. Also, he is an Integrated Researcher at Comprehensive Health Research Center (CHRC) and CES-ESSUALG (Center for Studies and Development in Health); Member of the Editorial Board of the University of Algarve Publisher, Member of the youth club committee of EuSoMII (European Society of Medical Imaging Informatics). Currently, his research interests are in the area of Health Sciences, particularly in the fields of Allied Health Professions Education, Quality Management, Health Services and Policies, and Artificial intelligence applied to medicine.
