Professor Pappachan M Joseph is a senior consultant Endocrinologist in the UK and honorary professor at the Manchester Metropolitan University, UK & Manipal University, India. He is an associate editor to Frontiers in Clinical Diabetes & Healthcare, the World Journal of Diabetes, Current Drug Safety, and TouchREVIEWS in Endocrinology. He is also in the editorial board member to JCEM Case Reports (American Endocrine Society) & Scientific Reports (Nature.com). He has fully edited multiple journal issues in the past, and is the lead editor to Elsevier Textbooks: "Endocrine Hypertension: From Basic Science to Clinical Practice - 2022 and "Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Fatty Liver Disease" (Endocrine & Metabolism Clinics) - 2023. He has more than 200 scientific publications in his credit in peer reviewed journals/textbooks and has several multinational research collaborations including the Cochrane Metabolic & Endocrine Disorders Group. His academic h-index is 45 with more than 6500 citations of his works to date. His clinical and academic excellence was recognised by the National Clinical Impact Award of the British Government in 2024.
