This text presents over 800 different paediatric cases in clinicopathologic form with accompanying diagnostic images. Included in the book are the symptoms and signs of the patient and all the normal and abnormal findings, coupled with a radiographic and diagnostic interpretation.
This is a presentation of over 800 different paediatric cases and more than 1100 imaging scans drawn from the medical records of a large university hospital. The cases cover all anatomic sites and all diseases seen in paediatric patients and are presented in clinicopathologic form, with accompanying diagnostic images. Each case begins with the chief complaint, history, and physical examination from head to foot, and then presents laboratory data, diagnostic images, and the diagnosis. The case study format offers instruction in interpreting imaging findings in the context of the patient history, physical examination, and laboratory results. Wherever available, the findings at operation, biopsy and necropsy are also included. All cases are cross-referenced by symptoms, signs and diagnosis.
