Mr. Pelletier is a technical writer and editor and publishes widely in the areas of nursing administration, quality, safety, and patient engagement, including several books, numerous book chapters and peer reviewed articles. He has participated in local and national initiatives focusing on safe and equitable care for persons with enduring behavioral health challenges. As a nurse expert with the U.S. Department of Justice, scientific consultant to the National Institutes of Health, and consultant to the National Quality Forum, he helped inform systems of care and national policy standards.'Mr. Pelletier is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing and NAHQ. For nine years, he served as editor-in-chief for the Journal for Healthcare Quality. Mr. Pelletier received the Yale School of Nursing Distinguished Alumnae/i Award in 2017. He has been a co-editor of HQ Solutions for five editions. Dr. Beaudin has worked, studied, analyzed, and practiced the art and science of healthcare quality in managed care organizations, health systems, hospitals, and community behavioral health centers for over twenty-five years. She has navigated changes in Medicare, Medicaid, and employer-sponsored funding for medical and behavioral health services while meeting stakeholder expectations such as those of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, NCQA, URAC, AAAHC, CARF International, The Joint Commission, The Leapfrog Group, U.S. News & World Report, and GuideStar.'She has conducted qualitative and quantitative evaluation research across the continuum of care on various topics that promote best care, smarter spending, healthier people, and joy in work. Her commitment to translational science is evidenced by authorship of over ninety peer reviewed articles, book chapters, case studies and reports – most tackling topics on improving human health and quality of life.
