Addictions are societal challenges that require the interaction of all social forces in the interest of the affected people.The essay tries to consider the most critical governance challenges involved in tackling the issue , looks at the possibly weakest points of existing interventions vis-à-vis the problem and does a quick check of arguments for and against delegating authority to the supranational level.
