Each one is presented on a single A4 sheet for reproduction either by photocopying from the looseleaf file or by printing from the disk-based version, to be handed to the patient following verbal consultation in the surgery, clinic, pharmacy or ward. The descriptions are written specifically for patients by a group of specialists in the range of relevant fields, and edited by a hospital physician and a GP. Each disorder is described in a set format. Supplements and updates will be offered annually.
