E. Blaurock-Busch PhD ist Gründungsmitglied und Co-Chairman der International Association of Trace Element Research and Cancer, und Organisator des 1. East-West World Congress on Trace Element and Cancer, Beijing, China in 1996. In 2005 verlieh ihr IBCMT (International Board of Clinical Metal Toxicology) den Award for Outstanding Service. Sie referierte und dozierte an verschiedenen Universitäten und Instituten weltweit. Sie war Gast bei Radio- und Fernsehshows verschiedener Länder, einschließlich der USA, Deutschland und Indien. Sie ist maßgeblich beteiligt an internationalen Studien der Metall Toxikologie. Darunter waren unter anderen, körperlich und geistig behinderte Kindern in Punjab, Indien, die Irakstudie von Prof. Busby der Universität Ulster, UK, die ebenfalls Metallbelastungen mit körperlichen und geistigen Behinderungen herstellen konnte. In Zusammenarbeit mit der Universität Kairo konnte der Nachweis ebenfalls erbracht werden und dass Entgiftungsmaßnahmen das autistische Verhalten positiv beeinflussen.

Yvette Busch ist Geschäftsführerin des medizinisch-toxikologischen Labors Micro Trace Minerals (MTM) GmbH, das sich mit Forschung, Veröffentlichungen, sowie der Ausbildung von Ärzten und verwandten Therapeuten im Umweltsektor engagiert. MTM funktioniert auch als Referenzlabor im In- und Ausland.
