This handbook has been designed to introduce trainees to safe surgical techniques and obstetric skills in a structured workshop environment. It is the course manual for the Basic Practical Skills in Obstetrics and Gynaecology course offered under the aegis of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
