Developed as a component of the Ziggurat Model, the Underlying Characteristics Checklist (UCC) is an informal, non standardised assessment tool designed to identify characteristics across a number of domains associated with ASD. The UCC User Manual outlines directions for using all 3 Underlying Characteristic Checklists: UCC-CL, UCC-HF, and the UCC-EI. The UCC and the Ziggurat Model in tandem lead to a program that is based on individual needs and uses the best practices in the field. Manual also includes the Individual Strengths and Skills Inventory found in the Ziggurat Model book.
