Presents the basics of yoga, meditation, diet and health through the author's personal journey, with case examples of his clients, and exercises for the reader to improve themselves holistically - diet, yoga, breathing, herbal remedies and more.
This is a presentation of the basics of yoga, meditation, diet and health through a weaving of the author's remarkable personal journey, with case examples of his clients, plus exercises for the reader to improve themselves holistically - diet, yoga, breathing, herbal remedies, etc. This is an inspirational and programmatic book to find the guru in you. As the first male super-model, Cameron Alborzian had a life that many dream of-working with the most prestigious designers in the world and appearing in cultural landmarks like Madonna's "Express Yourself" video. Even though by many standards he had achieved success, his real achievement came when he decided to leave fashion at the height of his popularity and pursue a life of Ayurvedic healing and yoga. For the past eight years he has become a sought-after healer and reforms his clients' lifestyles using these methods. He teaches what he has learned firsthand: the material world will not bring sustainable happiness, but we can all find joy if we understand that we have the power to become our own guru, and begin a meaningful path based on the principles and lessons outlined in "The Guru in You".
