Her research has focused on factors influencing food choice, particularly among children and adolescents, and the systematic use of theory and research evidence to design and evaluate nutrition education programs for a variety of populations to motivate and facilitate behavior change and provide environmental supports for change. She has made numerous presentations on nutrition education world-wide.
