Since 1996 she has been researching policy issues and the practice of working with people with intellectual disabilities. She is the Editor of Australian Social Work, the author of three previous books and numerous journal articles and book chapters. PATSIE FRAWLEY has a PhD from the School of Social Work and Social Policy at La Trobe University, Australia. Patsie trained as a teacher and has worked extensively in the field of intellectual disability as a researcher, educator, policy advisor and self advocate supporter.
