The climate crisis and the digital transformation of society have been accelerating in recent years and will continue to do so for the immediate future. So far technological breakthroughs and innovation have been unable to address or sufficiently mitigate the damage business has done to the environment, but there are new technologies and new business models that could spell a new beginning. This monograph presents a modern and original approach to the design and implementation of effective digital business models that provide positive services for addressing climate change. This includes artificial intelligence, digital platform solutions based on algorithms changing the functioning of technical organization, applied technological management supported by elements of automation and robotics and new mechanisms for implementing cybersecurity and safety principles. It will be of great interest to scholars and students of sustainability, business model innovation and digital business including artificial intelligence.

Adam Jablonski is a Full Professor at WSB MERITO University in Poznan, Poland. His scientific interests are focused on the issues of modern and efficient Strategic Management methods and new approaches to the design of a strategic group of key performance indicators and the principles of company value building sustainable business models. He also explores various features of modern strategic measurement systems and the operationalization of strategy and business models oriented towards achieving high performance. He conducts extensive research on the design and implementation of business models that positively impact the climate, taking into account the principles of Digital and Climate Transformation supported by Artificial Intelligence solutions.

Marek Jablonski is an Associate Professor at WSB MERITO University in Poznan, Poland. His scientific interests focus on the value-based management concept and creating value of companies at an early stage of development, as well as climate-changing aspects and their influence on industry and the business models of companies. He is also an expert in safety management in railway enterprises. He conducts extensive research on the design and implementation of business models that positively impact the climate, taking into account the principles of Digital and Climate Transformation supported by Artificial Intelligence solutions. He is a leader of project for using Evidence Based Management concept for decision making process of organizations.
