Dr Mufti Mahmud is a Professor at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia, where he directs the Cognitive Computing and Brain Informatics research group. Previously, at Nottingham Trent University (UK), he led research initiatives and served in key administrative roles, including coordinating the Computer Science Research Excellence Framework unit and directing the Cognitive Computing & Brain Informatics research group. A recipient of the 2021 VC Outstanding Researcher Award and a Marie-Curie postdoctoral fellow, Dr Mahmud has secured around £4 million in research funding from reputed funding agencies like the European Union and the British Council. With over 450 peer-reviewed publications, he is ranked among the top 2% cited scientists in Computer Science since 2021. He holds significant leadership positions in learned societies, including chair (2023-2024) and vice-chair (2020-2022) of IEEE CIS Intelligent Systems Application Technical Committee and a member of the Brain Informatics and CIS Health Systems Technical Committee, and an elected Board of Governors of APNNS (2025-2026). He serves as an editor for journals like Cognitive Computation, Brain Informatics and Frontiers in Neuroscience. He has chaired numerous international conferences, including ICONIP 2024, IEEE/WIC WI-IAT 2025, the Brain Informatics (2020-2022), and the Applied Intelligence and Informatics Conference (2021 onwards). He is the chief editor of book series including Applied Intelligence and Informatics book series with Springer-Nature, Smart Health System with CRC Press and Decentralised Systems and Future Internet with Scrivener/Wiley. Dr Mahmud is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK) and a senior member of IEEE and ACM, with memberships in BCS, INNS, APNNS, APA, and Sigma Xi. Dr. M Shamim Kaiser is currently working as a Professor at the Institute of Information Technology of Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka-1342, Bangladesh. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Applied Physics Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2002 and 2004 respectively, and the Ph. D. degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, in 2010. His current research interests include Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Wireless Network & Signal processing, Cognitive Radio Network, Big data and Cyber Security, Renewable Energy. He has authored more than 100 papers in different peer-reviewed journals and conferences. He is an Associate Editor of the IEEE Access Journal, Guest Editor of Brain Informatics Journal, and Cognitive Computation Journal. Dr. Kaiser is a Life Member of Bangladesh Electronic Society; Bangladesh Physical Society. He is also a senior member of IEEE, USA and IEICE, Japan, and active volunteer of the IEEE Bangladesh Section. He is the founding Chapter Chair of the IEEE Bangladesh Section Computer Society Chapter. Dr Kaiser organized various international conferences such as ICEEICT 2015-2018, IEEE HTC 2017, IEEE ICREST 2018, BI2020 etc. Anirban Bandyopadhyay is a Senior Scientist in the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Tsukuba, Japan. PhD from Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS), Kolkata 2005, December, on supramolecular electronics. 2005-2007: ICYS Research Fellow NIMS, Japan, 2007-now, permanent Scientist in NIMS, Japan. 10 patents on building artificial organic brain, big data, molecular bot, cancer & alzheimer drug, fourth circuit element etc. 2013-2014 a visiting scientist in MIT, USA, on biorhythms. World Technology Network, WTN Fellow, (2009-continued); Hitachi Science and Technology award 2010, Inamori Foundation award 2011-2012, Kurata Foundation Award, Inamori Foundation Fellow (2011-), Sewa Society International SSS Fellow (2012-), Japan; SSI Gold medal (2017). Dr. Mahesh Bundele is a prominent academic and researcher affiliated with Poornima College of Engineering (PCE) in Jaipur, India. Currently he is working as the Principal and Director of the institution. He has a total 40 years of experience in teaching, industry and research. His research interests span various fields, including soft computing, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Interdisciplinary research, Wearable and Pervasive Computing, COmputer Networks and Security etc. Dr. Bundele has contributed significantly to the academic community through his teaching, research and leadership. He has been actively involved in IEEE and ACM professional societies and holds many responsible positions. Under his leadership, Poornima College of Engineering has achieved notable milestones, including NAAC accreditation and autonomous status. Dr. Kanad Ray is the Director, Amity Cognitive Computing and Brain Informatics Centre and a Professor and Head of Physics at the Amity School of Applied Sciences Amity University Rajasthan (AUR), Jaipur, India. He has obtained M.Sc & Ph.D. degrees in Physics respectively from Calcutta University & Jadavpur University, West Bengal, India. In an academic career spanning over 30 years, he has published and presented research papers in several national and international journals and conferences in India and abroad. Prof. Ray’s current research areas of interest include cognition, communication,electromagnetic field theory, antenna & wave propagation, microwave, computational biology, and applied physics. He has served as an Editor of various Springer Book Series. He is a senior member IEEE and was an IEEE Executive Committee member of Rajasthan.
