This book is an exploration of differential and algorithmic intelligent game theory, offering a comprehensive look at its methods and applications across diverse fields. As the first installment in a pioneering series, it underscores the expanding influence of game theory in the physical, biological, social, and computational sciences, as well as engineering and technology. Readers will delve into dynamic strategic interactions, exploring continuous, discrete, and quantum strategies. The volume addresses computational challenges in finding equilibria and presents efficient algorithms for computing Nash equilibria. It also highlights the role of game theory in artificial intelligence, examining its use in AI-assisted behavioral and evolutionary game theory, multi-agent systems, and adversary training in generative adversarial networks. This book is essential for researchers, graduate students, and professionals in mathematics, computer science, and economics who are interested in applying game theory to analyze and design strategic systems. Offering a unique interdisciplinary perspective, combining differential game theory's continuous decision-making with algorithmic methodologies, this volume sets the stage for future installments, providing real-world case studies and applications that illustrate the practical use of game theory in dynamic, complex environments

Edgard A. Pimentel holds a PhD in Mathematics from the Instituto Superior Técnico of the Universidade de Lisboa, Portugal (2013), under the supervision of Diogo Gomes. In 2016, Dr. Pimentel obtained his Habilitation (Livre-Docência) at the Institute of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Sciences at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. Since 2017, Edgard works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), Brazil. A researcher of the National Council of Science and Technology (CNPq-Brasil) and "Jovem Cientista do Estado do Rio de Janeiro" (FAPERJ-Brasil), Edgard was recently selected as a Junior Associate Fellow of the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP-Trieste). In 2019, he was selected as a Grantee of the Serrapilheira Institute, Brazil. Also in 2019, Dr. Pimentel was elected Affiliated Member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences. His research interests are in Analysis of Partial Differential Equations, with emphasis on mean-field games and regularity theory.
Bourama Toni is a Full Professor of Mathematics and Chair of the Department of Mathematics at Howard University, Washington, DC, USA. Dr. Toni is the Founder and Editor of the Springer-published STEAM-H series, with truly an interdisciplinary profile. His research interests are primarily in Differential and Nonlinear Analysis and related topics to include Dynamical Systems, Non-Archimedean Analysis, Game Theory, Feedback Loops Analysis, and their applications to biosciences, behavioral sciences and naval engineering, with an excellent track-record of quality published research papers including contributed volumes with Springer.
