This book integrates theoretical advances and empirical data on enterprise governance of information technology (EGIT) with practical applications based on numerous case examples. In its fourth revised edition, this book provides practitioners and students with the most recent research advancements as well as a significantly reworked chapter on IT business value. The authors also include an in-depth discussion on control objectives for information and related technologies (COBIT) 2019 framework and an overview of complimentary methodologies such as Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and ISO standards and SAFe.
