I spent much of these years searching for the elusively fickle “right” marks and emotion which hum in tune with my heart, documenting this meandering change, capturing the textural and abstract details, presented here perhaps in excess, mimicking the mesmerizing effects they may exude to your mind as well as mine. The breath of the paintings, the dance of the pencil, and solemn and explosive energy in which they sing on the surface. After living for many years in the San Francisco area, Jeremy Mann, born in 1979, moved to Barcelona at the end of 2023. Jeremy Mann paints his muse(s), the urban landscapes of his daily life and the people around him. Whether as an oil painting, drawing or photography, a mysterious atmosphere emanates from his work, which has been exhibited and awarded countless prizes. His work skillfully combines beauty, rage and fury, with calm and storm.
