Arvind Kumar Prajapati received his bachelor’s degree from Uma Nath Singh Institute of Technology Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University (UNSIET VBS PU) Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, and a master’s degree from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar, Assam, both in Electrical Engineering in 2013 and 2015, respectively. Subsequently, he obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, Uttarakhand in 2019. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering Department, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur, Jharkhand form October 2022-onwrds. He has received 13 awards based on his academic performance. He has published 14 SCI journal papers, 15 international conference papers, 3 book chapters and 3 patents. His current research focuses on the areas of model order reduction and its application, fault detection and accommodation, and integrated vehicle health management (IVHM) systems. Manoj Tripathy received his B.E. degree in electrical engineering from Nagpur University, Nagpur, India, in 1999, the M.Tech. degree in instrumentation and control from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India, in 2002, and the PhD degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee, India, in 2008. He is currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. His fields of interest are wavelets, neural network, optimization techniques, content-based image retrieval, digital instrumentation, digital protective relays and digital speech processing. Dr Tripathy is a reviewer for various international journals in the area of power systems and speech. Asheesh Kumar Singh (Senior Member, IEEE) received his B. Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering from HBTI, Kanpur, India, in 1991, a M. Tech. degree in Control Systems from the REC, Kurukshetra, India, in 1994, and a Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India, in 2007. Since 1995, he has been a faculty member at the Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad, India, where he is currently Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering. His research interests are the application of soft computing techniques to power systems, distributed generation, power quality, reliability, and grid impacts of e-mobility. Dr. Singh is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India), and a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education, and Systems Society of India. Vijay K. Sood (Life Fellow, IEEE) was a Senior Researcher with the Research Institute of Hydro-Québec, Montreal, QC, Canada, for many years. Currently, he is an Associate Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department, Ontario Tech University (formerly University of Ontario Institute of Technology), Oshawa, ON, Canada where he joined in 2007. He is also a Professional Engineer in Ontario. Dr. Sood received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Bradford, Yorkshire, England. UK in 1977. He has authored over 150 articles and written 2 books on HVDC and FACTS transmission systems and has been the Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Power Delivery, Associate Editor of IEEE Canadian Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Associate Editor of IEEE Canadian Review quarterly magazine. His current research interests include the monitoring, control, and protection of power systems. Dr. Sood is a life fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, a fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada and Emeritus, and a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineer. Om P. Malik (Life Fellow, IEEE) graduated in electrical engineering from Delhi Polytechnic in 1952 and obtained a master’s degree in electrical machine design from Roorkee University in 1962. He received a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of London and a D.I.C. from the Imperial College (now University) of Science and Technology, London in 1965. Dr. Malik worked in electric utilities in India from 1952 to 1961 and spent one year, 1959-60, as a Confederation of British Industries Senior Scholar with manufacturing companies in the U.K. He taught at the University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, from 1966-68 and joined the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, in 1968. He was acting Dean of the Faculty of Engineering in 1981, Associate dean (Academic) from July 1979 to December 1990, and Associate Dean (Student Affairs) from July 1995 to December 1998. At present he is Professor Emeritus, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Calgary.
