This project sets out consistent methodological bases for creating a tourist app that meets the needs of both deaf and hearing people. The idea is to include information in a single application that can be understood by both groups. This will enable deaf people to be included in activities that are part of social life. Finally, making it easier to understand and locate cultural tourism venues in Brazilian cities.

Iara Melo has a degree in Design from UFPE and a specialization in Business Communication and Digital Media from UniFavip Wyden. She was an exchange student at the University of Porto in Portugal, where she furthered her studies in marketing and digital interfaces. She does consultancy work on marketing planning and digital positioning strategies.
