He has a degree in Computer Engineering from the Instituto de Estudos Superiores da Amazônia (2006), a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Universidade Federal do Pará (2009) and a PhD in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on Applied Computing from the Universidade Federal do Pará (2013).
