Reflects the developments in finite element methods. This book presents an overview and consolidation of the basic knowledge of linear spaces and PDEs, which is followed by the discussion of finite element methods, and their applications. It is for students of mathematics, engineering, and physics.
This book provides a clear and systematic introduction, to modern theory of partial differential equations (PDEs) and finite element methods (FEM). It is accessible to students of mathematics, engineering, and physics due to its approach. An overview and consolidation of linear algebra and elementary functional analysis is presented, which is followed by the discussion of PDEs and FEM with applications.
