I was interested in writing this paper in order to improve food and nutritional care. Because I believe that the institutional menu offers students the possibility of accessing healthy food, as well as allowing the institution to provide more attractive and appropriate meals, promoting nutritional education actions and based on the fact that food plays a leading role in the prevention and treatment of certain diseases, we highlight the need to evaluate consumption.
