Chapter 2. "Leave […] three men together after lunch and you can be sure that the conversation will turn to women and that the older one will start it." – Alexandre Dumas (1824– 1895). [6]

"Be more open to our amazing world. Trust the universe: it has a lot to offer – you just have to dare to take the first step. Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone, change and do what you've always wanted to do. Be open to people, events, lessons and experiences. Don't hold a grudge against anyone. Everyone is just trying to figure out who they are and going through the same things as you. Be patient, understanding and sympathetic.

You will definitely find people in your life who will bring out the best in you, making you grow at an incredible speed. Some of them will stay with you forever and some will go in a different direction. In any case, please do not devalue the special bond that will be established between you.

Tell those you love that you love and appreciate them as often as possible. You never know when a loved one might be gone. The same goes for you. Live your life to the fullest. Enjoy every moment. Love, take risks, make mistakes. That's the only way you'll never lose.

Our life is an amazing thing. You may not know who gave it to you or why, but you know that you need to make the most of this opportunity. Do what make your soul sing and tremble with delight. Then your journey will be happy and eventful.

Everything will come to you at the right time, at the right moment. You're where you need to be. Trust me. Don't worry. Don't waste time thinking about things that aren't worth it, that feed your ego. Get free: unnecessary things, "not your own" people. Thank them and let them go. Create space for a new one. Don't be afraid to let go of what's not yours and yours will come to you right away. Appreciate it.

I believe in you.

Believe in yourself.

Everything will work out."

Your close friend.

It is these words of a talented artist that give me strength and force me to move forward, in the most difficult moments of gray everyday life. In the flow of everyday tasks and experiences, we often forget about simple truths that can become guiding stars in life. In moments of feeling happiness and vital energy, it is important to catch and fix this state so that later, when consciousness becomes clouded, we can return to these letters addressed to ourselves and look at everyday things from a different angle.

My first guest, who rang the doorbell with a bouquet of flowers and a bottle of French wine, turned out to be Olga Biloshenko. We met many years ago in the city of Magdeburg, lived in the neighborhood for a while and became close friends over the years. Olga is not only a talented artist, restorer, but also a rather extraordinary person and most importantly, my faithful friend. As a child, she decided on her future profession and asked her parents to send her to art school. Olga studied the history of fine arts, the peculiarities of Italian and French painting, worked as a restorer at the city museum.

"As a child, it seemed to me that big and important events in life always happen unexpectedly. That they burst into a person's reality out of nowhere and literally turn his life 180 degrees, setting a completely new vector of development and giving an incredible feeling of inspiration. But over time, I realized that such magic doesn't just happen. It is always the result of our own decisions and actions. Whether it is achieving success in professional activities, finding the "ideal" romantic relationship or public recognition, this is always the way, and it is not always easy.

On this path, the key elements are our patience and trust in life. Without the belief that the road in front of us unfolds exactly as it should, that it leads us through those deviations that make us stronger and better, it is impossible to come to something magical. Life doesn't turn around in an instant. She always carefully brings us to the defining events.

And the magic, I think, lies precisely in learning to notice how small steps lead us to meaningful changes. To notice how things that we initially did not attach importance to begin to have more and more weight, folding into something completely amazing. And when we open our hearts and realize the power of simple actions that we take every day, everything around us begins to gradually transform, giving rise to a chain of events that transform our reality. Because these magical events happen to those who are open and ready for them. With those who risk making their way, not even being sure if it will lead him to where he dreams of being."

Olga was the first to discover for me the mysterious world of art, creativity and painting. Over the years of friendship, Olga has taught me to believe in my own strength and to dream daily.

How often do we hear the phrases "get down to earth", "stop flying in the clouds", "completely dreaming" and the like? Society is trying to take away from us what we are made of – our dreams. This is our base, our support. This is what we breathe, what flows in our blood. Dreams are the first step to a happy life.

With age, many people lose the ability to dream under a thick layer of negative beliefs and the imposition of advice from others on how we will be better off. It is very difficult in such a huge amount of information to hear this barely noticeable voice that comes from the heart. Often, when we reach the next peak, we realize that this is not at all what we originally wanted? But how can we understand if these are our dreams, our goals, if we don't do the most important thing – we don't hear ourselves? But this is the base of everything on which our life rests.

It doesn't matter what our dreams are, big or small. What matters is how much we want it. If we open up to our true desires, we discover new opportunities, new resources, new people and the world as a whole. We discover "the very life" that we want to live. If we know what we are putting so much effort into, it will be easier and, I will say more, more pleasant for us to go to the cherished. That's why it's so important to hear your dreams – to get rid of disappointments forever and know what all this is for, already on the way.

Olga taught me never to doubt my abilities, to go to the goal and dream without borders. She made me believe in a fairy tale where life can change with the wave of a magic wand and happiness depends only on ourselves and our inner attitude to the world around us.

"Whatever is happening in your life now, remember that if you are alive, absolutely anything is possible. We are the creators of our own destiny, we choose which way we move and what we want. Negative thoughts, doubts, indecision – they do not create anything, but only destroy. And first of all, they destroy us, including our dreams. Negative thoughts only waste our time and take up a lot of energy. Therefore, do not let thinking destroy and distance you from your dreams!

Learn to dream without borders! After all, this is the beauty of our imagination! The more often we delve into our dreams, feel them, imagine them, the faster we will achieve what we want. Our thoughts will become broader and our actions more effective.

Dreams come true as soon as we start to believe in them. Dream a lot and everywhere: before going to bed, during your lunch break, after waking up, on the subway or bus. Dream bigger and infinitely."

Olga is a multifaceted and versatile artist working in various styles and directions. Frequent travels around the world, long-term residence in Italy and France left a special imprint on the artist's worldview. Her works give the viewer vivid episodes from a happy childhood, a kind of naivety and purity of soul.

Olga, being an adult and accomplished woman, was able to keep in her heart untouched childhood memories, feelings of peace with the soul and eyes of an inquisitive child who has not yet known the difficulties of gray everyday life and life disappointments. It is this genuine, childish view of life that touches me to the depths of my soul.

Exhibitions of Olga Biloshenko's works are always full of spectators and accomplices of a certain performance. The artist's canvases seem to come to life, entering into an interesting dialogue with the guests. The author's work is accessible not only to an adult interested in painting, but also to children who are used to feeling with their hearts and perceiving the world around them through the prism of spiritual harmony.

The artist's paintings are full of travels, fairy tales, myths and legends. In each work, Olga tries to tell the viewer a beautiful story with small details of everyday life. It is as if she is looking at the real world through the prism of pink glasses, thereby making it more beautiful. The artist teaches us to believe in miracles regardless of age or living conditions and to dream beautifully, widely, infinitely.

Olga managed to form her own technique, in which a variety of colors, vivid subjects and saturation of the canvas are combined with the simplicity of the image itself. Olga Biloshenko has not only professional skills, but also extensive work experience. She can see the world from different angles, which are usually inaccessible to an ordinary person. Displaying her unique perception allows her to create realistic canvases that delight the gaze of contemplators and attract with their mystery.

Observation, the ability to highlight even the most inconspicuous details of the surrounding world and reflect what they see in bright...
