Gilberto Alves Neves has Advanced Studies and a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Modelling (Scientific Area Statistical Modelling) from the Universidade Aberta (UAB), a Master's Degree in Computational Statistics from UAB and a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics - Statistics Branch from the Instituto Superior de Ciências do Mar (ISECMAR).
