The present work reports on the social situation of Makora, which is located in Kango (Gabon). It is based on the impact of mining activities in the region on the indigenous populations. Some questions summarize the present work, namely: what contribution does the mining operator make to the way of life of the population? what benefits do the populations derive from the establishment of these extractive structures? The answers to these questions were the focus of this final year project.

Born in Oyem on 11/09/1988, Ludovic Francis Ella Ndoutoume holds a master's degree in sociology with a major in spatial and territorial development. He also holds a master's degree in sustainable development and a master's degree in political science with a major in francophony and globalisation from the Franco-Gabonese University of Saint-Exupéry.
