Solve challenges related to Kubernetes clusters and application workloads deployed across different multi-cloud and on-premises infrastructure using various tools in the Anthos suite

Key Features

Set up and configure Anthos on multiple platforms like GCP, AWS, Azure, VMware, and BareMetal
Define consistent security and compliance policies for applications deployed across multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments
Enable advanced configuration, monitoring, and SRE best practices for applications deployed on top of Anthos clusters

Book DescriptionBeing able to run and centrally manage Kubernetes clusters and the applications hosted in different environments has become critical to many businesses. Yet, there are challenges like inconsistent infrastructure and application management, lack of centralized visibility, and inconsistent security policies and compliance. This book solves these challenges by guiding you through advanced features and use cases of Google Anthos.
You will begin with deploying and configuring Anthos on multiple environments like GCP, AWS, and Azure along with vSphere and BareMetal. Further, you will be able to automate compliance policy and security at scale using Anthos Config Management and Policy Controller. You will also manage and secure traffic between services while monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving application performance using Anthos Service Mesh. Next, you will define and implement a modern CI/CD pipeline to build and deploy applications to Anthos clusters in a consistent and secure fashion. Furthermore, you will learn to secure your software supply chain using Binary Authorization. Finally, you will modernize legacy applications by migrating them to containers using Migrate for Anthos.
By the end of this book, you will be able to consistently manage the operation and security of the applications across multiple cloud and infrastructure platforms using Google Anthos. What you will learn

Solve challenges in establishing a multi-cloud strategy with Google Anthos
Build and deploy applications to Google Anthos using modern CI/CD pipeline
Consistently manage operation and security of applications
