He is a regular speaker at Cisco Live, both in the United States and internationally. Prior to working at Cisco, he wrote web-based teaching software, owned an Internet Service Provider, taught computer science courses, and worked in Information Technology at a college. His diligence resulted in the first successful computer crimes conviction in the state of Oregon. Gary lives in Salem, Oregon, with his wife and children.
