Academic Press Inc (Verlag)
978-0-12-817799-0 (ISBN)
Programming Mathematics Using MATLAB® is appropriate for readers familiar with sophomore-level mathematics (vectors, matrices, multivariable calculus), and is useful for math courses focused on MATLAB® specifically and those focused on mathematical concepts which seek to utilize MATLAB® in the classroom.
Lisa Oberbroeckling is on the faculty of the Mathematics and Statistics Department at Loyola University Maryland. She has used MATLAB® in her linear algebra and multivariate calculus courses since 2004. She was instrumental in the design and teaching of a Programming Mathematics using MATLAB® course (both 1-credit and 3-credit) within her department. Her research is focused on functional and numerical analysis.
