This book gathers high-quality papers presented at the First International Conference on Sustainable Technologies for Computational Intelligence (ICTSCI 2019), which was organized by Sri Balaji College of Engineering and Technology, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, on March 29-30, 2019. It covers emerging topics in computational intelligence and effective strategies for its implementation in engineering applications.

 



Dr. Ashish Kr Luhach received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Banasthali University, India, and was a postgraduate at the Latrobe University, Australia. Dr. Luhach serves as a senior lecturer at the PNG University of Technology, Papua New Guinea. With more than a decade of teaching and research experience, he has published over 40 research articles in reputed journals and conference proceedings. He has also been editor/conference co-chair for various conferences such as ICAICR and ICTSCI and currently serves on the editorial boards of various journals. He is a member of the CSI, ACM, and IACSIT.

 

Prof. Dharm Singh Jat is a Professor of Computer Science at Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST). He is the author of more than 140 peer-reviewed articles and the author or editor of 16 books. His research interests include multimedia communications, wireless technologies, mobile communication systems, edge, roof computing, software-defined networks, network security, and the Internet of Things. The recipient of more than 19 prestigious awards, he is also a Fellow of The Institution of Engineers (I), Computer Society of India and Chartered Engineer (I), a Senior Member of the IEEE, Distinguished ACM Speaker, and IEEE CS DVP Speaker.  

Dr. Janos Arpad Kosa is a member of the GAMF Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science at Neumann Janos University, Hungary.  He is a seasoned researcher and has published extensively in reputed journals. He was the first researcher worldwide to develop DC flux transfer and AC flux transfer between independent iron cores in power systems. He has chaired various conferences and been an Invited Speaker to universities around the globe, e.g. Michigan State University, USA, and Ankara University, Turkey.  

Dr. Ramesh Chandra Poonia is an Associate Professor at Amity Institute of Information Technology, Amity University Rajasthan, Jaipur, India; and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Cyber-Physical Systems Laboratory (CPS Lab), Department of ICT and Natural Sciences, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Alesund, Norway. With substantial research experience, he has organized various conferences and published more than 100 research papers in journals and conference proceedings. He is an active member of the IEEE, CSI, and ACM.  

Prof. Xiao-Zhi Gao is currently serving at the University of Eastern Finland. He has published more than 350 articles in reputed journals and conference proceedings. He also serves on the editorial boards of many journals published by Springer and Elsevier.
