He has been focused on web development for the past 7 years and, prior to that, worked for Oracle, IBM, and Informix. Ethan holds undergraduate degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science, and an MBA for Portland State University, bringing a unique blend of high-level technical knowledge together with a thorough understanding of the business side of software development, enabling him to offer insightful advice on what it takes to be an effective programmer in the "real world."
