This practical book provides an overview of the security challenges, practices, and blueprints for today's data storage and analysis systems to protect against current and emerging attackers. It includes the organizational, strategic, and technological depth to design a modern data security practice within any organization. Most commercial and government organizations face two major drivers for their enterprises: the increasing use of cloud services and a deluge of data for mining. If you're involved with one of these organizations, you need to understand how to use these technologies alongside the compliance, privacy, and data theft requirements. Learn the nature of emerging data security threats Ensure data security and privacy while enabling data exploration and analysis Scale security to meet new needs as new regulations and compliance requirements emerge Establish a rigorous team that will ensure data security Employ technology that adopts the appropriate security policy automatically
