Dr. Pouria Amirian is an active researcher, lecturer, author and developer in the fields of NoSQL, Big Data, Spatial Databases and Location-Based Services. At the moment he is big data project coordinator in Global Health Network, the University of Oxford where he works on a large scale big data project in collaboration with several researchers from the University of Oxford and Stanford University. Before joining the University of Oxford, he was a lecturer in Computer Science department of National University of Ireland Maynooth.
