The trail leads to a hostess club and a dohan Amy went on, and Pete thinks she may have been murdered. Events take an unusual turn when a photograph of Amy shows up, replicating a dark scene in an underground film.
Meanwhile, on Pete's instruction, Suzi Sloane has picked up Harrison Thom in his hotel bar. Her brief: to find out whether he actually has a daughter.
Soon, events spiral out of control, and Pete fears he is being drawn into something he should resist. But his detective's instinct won't let him give up.
