Self-love is the hidden key to great relationships and a fulfilling, happy life, as NYT bestselling author Dan Harris discovers in his new, deeply personal memoir.
Me, A Love Story is a fearless, funny, and deeply human memoir by journalist and meditation evangelist Dan Harris, charting his unexpected journey into the messy, maddening, and ultimately life-altering terrain of love. The turning point comes when Harris undergoes a "360 review"-a corporate feedback tool typically limited to professional colleagues. But in his case, he takes it much further, inviting brutally honest, anonymous feedback not just from coworkers, but also from close friends and family. The result is a kind of psychological colonoscopy, revealing that the real obstacle to his happiness isn't work-life balance or purpose-it's the quality of his relationships.
With the same unflinching honesty and dry humour that made 10% Happier a bestseller, Harris turns the lens inward to examine marriage, fatherhood, friendship, fame, and the unconscious emotional habits that sabotage connection. What follows is a candid, often hilarious odyssey through therapy, meditation, ego-crumbling insight, and the paradoxes at the heart of real intimacy.
This is not a tidy redemption arc or a spiritual puff piece. It's a raw, unsentimental, and ultimately hopeful exploration of what it actually takes to love and be loved in the real world.

Dan Harris is host of the 10% Happier Podcast. For 21 years, he worked at ABC News, where he was the co-anchor of Nightline and the weekend editions of Good Morning America. He also reported from all over the world, including war zones and presidential campaigns. Before joining ABC, he worked for local news outlets in Boston and Maine. He lives in New York with his wife, son, and a gaggle of rescue cats.
