'If you're looking for a personal prostitute, I suggest you try elsewhere.' She spat the words like they tasted bad. 'I'd rather lose my job than lose my self-respect.'

'But 'personal prostitute'? That stung. Made me sound like some sleazy corporate villain from a bad movie.

'You're misunderstanding me.' I straightened up, adjusting my tie. 'What if I offered something more legitimate?'

'Like what?'

'Be my girlfriend.'

Madison's jaw dropped. 'Excuse me?'

'One year.' I warmed to the idea as I spoke.

Madison Harper knows all too well the chaos Alexander Knight leaves in his wake.

As the billionaire CEO's personal assistant, she's cleaned up after countless scandals, soothed furious ex-lovers, and kept his tumultuous private life from spilling into the boardroom. But when one fateful night lands her in Alexander's bed, everything changes.

After the one-night stand, what begins as a moment of weakness spirals into an arrangement neither of them can resist: Madison needs financial help for her mother's mounting medical bills, and Alexander offers it-on one condition. She must become his girlfriend for a year.

No strings. No emotions. Just business.

But as the lines between their professional and personal lives blur, Madison's resolve to keep her heart guarded begins to falter. Beneath Alexander's reckless charm lies a magnetic pull she can't escape. And just as she starts to believe she might be more than his latest 'arrangement,' the ghost of Alexander's long-lost first love, Katherine, reappears-threatening to destroy their relationship in a dangerous love triangle.

Book 2 in Love Triangle Adult Romance Series. A must-read for fake relationship contemporary romance lovers.

Chapter 66

Alexander

Leo squinted at the footage. "Could be anyone. Friend, maybe?"

Rick snorted. "Friend? Please. I've worked security in Vegas long enough to know what's what. That's your classic one-night special right there." He clicked through different camera angles. "You rich folks come here thinking you're being discrete, but trust me - we see everything. The walk of shame is practically a morning ritual around here. Though usually they're gone before sunrise, not..." He checked the timestamp again. "Seven-fifteen."

"Fascinating documentary on Vegas dating habits, Rick." I straightened up, my mind already piecing together a different puzzle. "But I think we're barking up the wrong tree here."

Leo raised an eyebrow. "You getting that feeling too?"

"Come on." I headed for the door, Leo following close behind. Once we were clear of the security room, I stopped. "Maybe we're looking at this all wrong."

"What do you mean?" Leo's brow furrowed.

"Think about it. We're assuming she's involved in the drugging incident, but what if this is just Abigail being Abigail?"

"You lost me."

"She's always had a knack for tracking me down. She probably used her connections to find out I was here. And let's be real - she came hoping for a repeat performance of our past encounters."

"Are you sure about that?" Leo's expression turned serious. "Seems like a hell of a coincidence."

I shrugged. "It's just one theory. But think about our mystery man. If he was there to share information or plot something sinister, why stay until morning?" I wiggled my eyebrows. "Unless..."

"Unless he was there for a different kind of debriefing?" Leo snickered.

"God, that was terrible." I couldn't help but laugh. "But yeah. Abigail's always had a healthy appetite for entertainment."

Leo smirked but then paused as he had just remembered something crucial. "Oh, wait. I almost forgot." He pulled out his phone and tapped the screen a few times. "You gotta see this."

He turned the phone towards me, revealing a picture of a woman who looked to be around 23 or 25. She was wearing a dress that barely qualified as clothing. It hugged her body like a second skin, showing off her generous tits that threatened to spill out at any moment. The plunging neckline exposed more than it concealed, and her legs stretched on forever, ending in high heels that made her ass look impossibly round and firm.

Leo swiped through more photos—one where she posed seductively on a bed, completely naked, her legs spread wide, showing off her glistening pussy; another where she arched her back, her huge tits on full display with nipples hard as diamonds.

"Jesus, Leo." I tried to sound casual but couldn't help the stir of arousal at the sight. Yet, all I could think about was Madison—her shy smile, the way her breasts felt against my chest, and how she moaned when I touched her clit.

"She's available if you want," Leo continued with a knowing grin. "Ready for tonight."

"I already told you," I said, shaking my head. "I stopped one-night stands or casual hookups after that drug incident."

Leo rolled his eyes. "Come on, man. She won't be available forever."

I sighed, pushing the phone away. "I stopped, Leo. No need."

"Alright, alright. It's your loss, though. You're missing something unforgettable."

"Trust me, I've got everything I need right here in this hotel." My mind flashed to Madison's perfect ass pressed against the window last night, her breasts bouncing as she rode me. Fuck.

"Right, because you're such a monk now." Leo's sarcasm could've filled the Grand Canyon.

"Let's just say I've got my hands full," I smirked, thinking of how Madison's small hands felt wrapped around my cock. "Just call me if you find anything useful about our other situation."

"Such a tease." Leo shook his head. "Fine, keep your secrets. I'll see you at Andrew's party anyway. That should be interesting."

"Can't wait." I rolled my eyes. Andrew's parties were always a mix of business sharks and desperate socialites trying to climb the social ladder.

"Alright then," Leo said, starting to back away. "Try not to get into too much trouble before then."

I flipped him off as he disappeared around the corner, his laughter echoing off the marble walls.

I watched Leo's retreating form, shaking my head at his antics. That man never changed - always trying to set me up with someone new. But these days, my mind was occupied with only one woman.

The elevator ride up to my suite felt longer than usual. My cock twitched at the thought of finding Madison waiting for me, maybe sprawled across my bed in nothing but one of those lacy things I'd bought her. Or better yet, completely naked.

I swiped my keycard, already loosening my tie. "Madison?"

Silence greeted me. The suite was empty, but the bed was still perfectly made.

I tossed my tie onto the nearest chair and checked my phone. No messages. Where had that girl wandered off to? Probably exploring the Strip like every other first-time Vegas tourist. The thought of her wide-eyed excitement at the fountains and lights made me smile.

My thumb hovered over her contact before pressing the dial. The phone rang twice before her soft voice came through.

"Mr. Knight?"

"Having fun without me?" I sprawled across the couch, kicking off my shoes.

"Oh! Um, yes. The Strip is amazing. There's this fountain show that-"

"Let me guess - Bellagio?"

"How did you know?"

"Everyone goes there first." I chuckled, picturing her mesmerized face watching the dancing water. "But trust me, it's even better at night. The lights, the music - we should go tonight. I'll show you the real Vegas magic."

"Really?" Her voice perked up like an excited puppy. Fuck, she was adorable.

"Mhmm. But for now, get that sweet ass back here." I shifted on the couch, my cock already hardening at the thought of her return. "Or do I need to come collect you myself?"

"Mr. Knight!" She squeaked, and I could practically see her blushing. "No need for that. I'll be back in ten minutes."

"You better be." I lowered my voice to that tone that always made her shiver. "Because if I have to hunt you down, well... let's just say you might not be walking straight tomorrow."

"Oh my god." She whispered, half-scandalized, half-turned on. "I-I'll be quick."

"Good girl." I grinned. "Ten minutes. The clock's ticking."

"Yes, Mr. Knight."

I hung up, still smiling at how easily I could fluster her.

Chapter 67

Madison

I hung up the phone, rolling my eyes at Alexander's commanding tone. My fingers tightened around the phone as I started walking back to the resort. Trust him to cut my exploring short with his demands.

"Ten minutes," I mimicked under my breath, dodging a group of tourists. "Clock's ticking."

The man was insatiable. We'd already spent half the morning tangled in his sheets, and here he was, ordering me back like some horny teenager. The memory of his hands on my body made the heat pool low in my belly.

"No, stop that," I scolded myself, quickening my pace. "You're supposed to be annoyed with him."

I was actually enjoying myself before his call. The fountains had been spectacular, and I'd spotted at least three shops I wanted to explore. But no - Alexander couldn't wait another hour or two.

I sighed, watching another spectacular burst from the fountains. The water danced in perfect synchronization, creating shapes I'd never imagined possible. A cool mist drifted over, offering sweet relief from the Nevada heat.

The keycard beeped, and I stepped into the suite. Alexander lounged on the leather couch, his suit jacket discarded, sleeves rolled up to expose his forearms. His eyes tracked my movement like a predator.

"Did you enjoy yourself?" His low, dangerous tone made my skin tingle.

"I did, Mr. Knight. The fountains were amazing. And if someone hadn't demanded I rush back, I might have enjoyed even more of them."

A slow smile spread as he stretched. "We can go back this evening. We still have tomorrow and Monday, too, if you'd like to explore more."

My eyebrows shot up. "Monday? I thought we were leaving tomorrow night."

Alexander's eyes sparkled with amusement. "And miss Andrew's party? That's the whole reason we're here, Ms. Harper." He stretched his long legs out, looking far too comfortable. "Did you forget that we're here to find the person who drugged me?"

"Of course not. I just assumed we'd leave after the party."

"No." He stood up, crossing the room with that predatory grace that quickened my pulse. His fingers traced along my jaw, tilting my face up. "Andrew mentioned he's planning something big - another project he wants to discuss. He might bring it up at the party, but knowing him, he'll probably want a private meeting on Monday."

His thumb brushed my bottom lip, making it hard to focus on business matters.

"So we can stay until Monday, then? " the words came out breathier than intended. "That gives us more time to explore."

His eyes darkened. "Explore, Ms. Harper? I like the sound of that."

"I meant Las Vegas. The city. The sights." I stepped back but found myself trapped between his body and the wall. "The fountains, remember?"

"Mmm." His lips brushed my ear. "I'm more interested in exploring other things. Like how sensitive your neck is right here." His teeth grazed the spot that made my knees weak. "Or discovering what sounds you make when I-"

"The Strip!" I gasped,...
