Born in Osaka, Japan, on October 25, Shoichi Usui got his start working as an assistant for Eiichiro Oda on One Piece. In addition to working on manga, he enjoys playing games like Super Smash Bros. and the One Piece TCG. His first serialized release, Ultimate Exorcist Kiyoshi, began running in Shonen Jump in June 2024.
