This is the archive. It is the obsessive hunt for a ghost: the smell of Sun-Fresh blue laundry powder, a chemical promise of 2007 that no longer exists. But a new, purple, contaminating smell is seeping in, poisoning the numbers and breaking the equation.
This is not a story. This is the sound of a person eating cold food in the dark, trying to count their way back to a single, clean smell.
