Long before Tommy Marinelli became a war hero, a political force, or the target of an assassination attempt There was just Tommy and Laurie-two kids in a sun-soaked California beach town, chasing waves, chasing dreams, and falling into a soulmate love that felt written in the stars... but fate had other plans. Laurie's aspirations of being an actress are lost to the truth of Hollywood's dark underbelly; Tommy's belief in honor and sacrifice are lost to a war that breaks and haunts him; their chance to start a family is lost with Laurie's untimely and tragic death; and then Tommy's renewed purpose as a U.S. Senator and lightning rod for the truth is lost with an assassination attempt. Presumed dead after an assassination attempt, Tommy disappears into South America-only to meet Emerson, a woman with sky-blue eyes, a familiar laugh, and a soul that feels like home. She doesn't remember him. But her soul does. And Tommy? He remembers everything. Her name isn't Laurie. But her presence is unmistakable.

Tom Gianelli's journey through the worlds of entertainment and entrepreneurship is as layered and cinematic as the stories he tells. Hailing from Louisville, Kentucky, Gianelli entered the world of acting at just six years old, performing in local productions directed by his stepfather, Bill Asman, a seasoned director of photography. With the guidance of a family rooted in Hollywood-Oscar and Emmy-winning sound editors Bub and John Asman among them-his early exposure to film set the stage for a lifelong creative path. At age nine, Gianelli moved to California, joined the Screen Actors Guild in 1996, and at just the age of 14, he honed his performance skills on the stand-up comedy circuit at iconic venues like the Comedy Store and the Laugh Factory. He studied Film and Communications at UCLA and CSUN while playing college football and even briefly exploring professional leagues. His broad experiences, including a stint as a private security contractor, shaped a unique lens through which he approaches storytelling. Gianelli is also a visionary entrepreneur. As the founder of Ameri-Vegan and Elixir MRE superfoods, he introduced one of the first complete organic meal replacements powered by hemp protein. His flagship creations-the Mookie Cookie and Greens Superfood-are now staples at Southern California hotspots like Gold's Gym and Erewhon. Whether on screen, on the page, or on the shelves, Tom Gianelli continues to innovate and inspire with relentless creativity and purpose.
A cinematic, soul-stirring debut about love beyond time, truth beyond systems, and hope beyond despair - from the battlefields of war to the stars overhead. Long before Tommy Marinelli became a war hero, a political force, or the target of an assassination attempt, he was just a kid: a boy from a sleepy California beach town with a surfboard under one arm and his whole life ahead of him. And always by his side: Laurie. Brilliant, free-spirited, endlessly curious, with a spirit so defiant it seemed to dare the world to tame her. She pulled him in like gravity, altering his life's trajectory forever. Their love was magnetic, effortless the kind that feels destined, like it's been written across lifetimes... but life had other plans. Laurie, an aspiring actress with a passion for truth, headed to Hollywood to change the world only to be disillusioned by its dark underbelly. Tommy enlisted, believing in honor and sacrifice. He returned from war broken, haunted, and then he lost her. Devastated, Tommy buries himself in purpose. Years later, Tommy Marinelli has become a U.S. Senator and a rising political force exposing corruption in Big Pharma, Wall Street, Big Oil, and the war industry. His voice becomes a threat to the system, and just as his truth begins to catch fire he vanishes. Presumed dead after an assassination attempt, Tommy disappears into South America only to meet Emerson, a woman with sky-blue eyes, a familiar laugh, and a soul that feels like home. She doesn't remember him. But her soul does. What if soulmates never truly separate? What if love, like energy, can't be destroyed only transformed?Inspired by the real science of quantum entanglement where particles, once connected, remain linked across time and space this is a story of cosmic love, second chances, and healing across lifetimes. "e;Quantum Entanglement"e; is a journey through trauma and transcendence, truth and illusion, fate and free will. Perfect for readers of "e;The Time Traveler's Wife"e;, "e;The English Patient"e;, and "e;Cloud Atlas"e;; this unforgettable debut is for anyone who believes that real love survives anything even death.

Chapter 2

Into the Fire

Tommy’s heart pounded in his chest, faster with every passing second. His eyes widened as he lifted his head, the weight of reality crashing down on him like a tidal wave. The familiar hum of the helicopter blades filled the air, but today, the sound held a different kind of gravity. He was flying into war.

He sat hunched inside the Bell Huey-H2 helicopter, his grip tight around the edge of the seat, knuckles white. The air inside the chopper was thick with tension, a quiet hum of anxiety that no one spoke aloud, but everyone felt. The sound of the rotors cutting through the air above them had always been familiar to him, too familiar. He had done this before. He had flown into combat, had faced down enemies in distant lands. But today, something felt different. Something gnawed at the edges of his mind, an unshakable sense of foreboding.

At thirty, Tommy was a seasoned PMC specialist. This wasn’t new to him, he had been in and out of jungles, deserts, and warzones enough times to have the routine embedded in his bones. But each mission carried its own weight, its own unpredictability, and he never let his guard down. Next to him sat LT, his commanding officer, a grizzled Delta Force retiree in his late thirties. On the other side were Jay and Nick, brothers by blood and by the bond forged in battle. Both snipers, they were younger, but their cold efficiency gave them a calm beyond their years. Sean, a former Marine specialist, rounded out the group. At thirty-six, Sean had seen his fair share of combat, his experience evident in every precise movement.

As the helicopter skimmed the treetops of the Colombian jungle, Tommy’s heart pounded in his chest, each beat echoing in his ears like the distant thrum of the chopper’s blades. He could see the dense canopy below, a sea of green stretching out for miles, interrupted only by the occasional rocky outcrop or the flash of a river winding through the wilderness. The beauty of the landscape stood in sharp contrast to the violence they were about to descend into.

His eyes widened as he lifted his head to look out of the open side of the helicopter. It was impossible to ignore the reality of where they were headed. The mission had sounded clear enough back at base, a straightforward operation: in, out, secure the target. But as the jungle loomed closer, the weight of the situation began to press down on him, suffocating.

What am I doing here?

The question tore through his mind, unbidden but relentless. Tommy blinked, trying to force it away, but it lingered, stubborn, gnawing at his resolve. His thoughts were a storm, each one more unsettling than the last. He had trained for this, had prepared for this, but there was no preparing for the constant dread of not knowing if you’d make it out. The fear wasn’t new, but today, it felt different. He wasn’t just scared, he was overwhelmed. His hands shook slightly as he reached for the strap of his gear, grounding himself in the only way he knew how, by focusing on the task.

But it wasn’t enough to silence the storm.

Laurie. Her name floated into his mind, soft and insistent. He hadn’t seen her in weeks, hadn’t heard her voice in days. But she was always there, at the back of his mind, the constant that kept him grounded. Her smile, the way her hand felt in his, the sound of her laugh, they were all there, replaying in his memory like a lifeline in the chaos. What if he didn’t make it back? What if this was the last mission? Would she ever know what truly happened to him? Would she remember the way he had looked at her the last time they said goodbye?

The whisper of doubt grew louder. He clenched his fists, trying to push the memories aside. Not now. Focus. The helicopter jolted as they began their descent, the treetops rising up to meet them, and Tommy felt his heart lurch in response. His body reacted instinctively reaching for his weapon, preparing for the inevitable chaos below. But his mind was still caught in the storm, a maelstrom of fear and guilt that wouldn’t let him go.

What if this is it?

The thought gripped him, cold and final. He had always known the risks of combat. It wasn’t something he dwelled on, he couldn’t afford to. But today, it felt too real. He had seen too many men fall, too many lives cut short in the name of duty. Was he any different? Would he be just another name, another casualty, another soldier whose body would be shipped home in a box?

The image flashed in his mind, his mother, eyes swollen from tears, Laurie, standing at his graveside, clutching the dog tags they would send home in his place. He could almost see it, the way she would stand there, staring at the headstone with his name etched into the cold stone. Alone. Left with the burden of his memory.

His breath caught in his throat as the helicopter hovered for a moment before the doors slid open, above the treetops, in a small clearing, the team snapped into action. The roar of the rotors filled the air as the rest of the OPS team fast-roped into the jungle. Tommy’s legs moved on instinct, his training taking over, but his mind was still tangled in the mess of what-ifs and memories. Now on the ground, in an instant, the men spread out, blending into the dense jungle as if they were part of it, the jungle swallowed them whole.

The oppressive humidity clung to him, making it hard to breathe, and for a moment, all Tommy could hear was the pounding of his own heartbeat in his ears. his senses immediately on high alert. The jungle was thick, the air humid, the distant sound of birds and rustling leaves masking the deadly tension in the air. As they moved into position.

“Eyes on target,” came LT’s calm voice through the comms.

“Copy that,” Tommy replied, already moving into position.

The OPS unit, a twelve-man team of private military contractors, moved with fluid efficiency, finding cover and observation points around a small farmhouse nestled deep in the jungle. It looked peaceful enough from a distance, but the men knew better. Hostiles were crawling all over the place. Tommy’s grip tightened around his weapon; his instincts sharp.

LT’s voice crackled in his ear. “I have five tangos.”

Tommy squinted, surveying the scene. “Getting a closer look. These guys are gonna be pissed.”

He signaled to his team, and they moved southwest, shifting for a better vantage point. Tommy kept his body low, crouching behind the thick foliage as he reached for his comm. “Nick, get eyes on this. Find an FFP for overwatch. Jay, Sean, you’re with me. Let’s make sure we don’t get flanked.”

They moved silently, like shadows in the underbrush. Ahead of them, the farmhouse buzzed with activity. The hostiles weren’t just lounging around, they were organized, moving in and out of the building, talking on radios. Tommy’s gut tightened. Something was off.

“Nick?”

“I’m in position. I have all five tangos in view.”

Tommy nodded to himself, his eyes still scanning the scene. “Sean?”

“All clear. Good to go.”

“Copy. LT, we’re good to go.”

Nick’s voice cut in again, a note of curiosity in his tone. “LT, this seems like a lot of real estate for just five tangos. What’s our intel on this?”

“Intel is confirmed,” LT replied, his voice steady. “We’re just backup in case things get unpleasant.”

Nick let out a low breath. “I’m just saying, if someone came to kick me off my land, I’d put up a fight.”

LT’s response was cold and clear. “We’re a defensive force. Fire if fired upon.”

Tommy smirked, though there was no humor in it. “Roger that.”

Suddenly, a truck rumbled up the dirt path, pulling to a stop outside the farmhouse. An older white man, clearly the VIP, stepped out, flanked by a tactical operator and two law officers. The VIP’s presence screamed corporate, with his clean suit and the Eminent Domain paperwork clutched in his hand. Rick, the tactical operator, was a mountain of a man in his late thirties. He had been around since the first Gulf war, and it showed in the hard lines of his face and the solid mass of his body.

Tommy tensed as he watched the scene unfold from his cover. The VIP approached the hostiles, paperwork in hand, and the air grew thick with tension. Words were exchanged, Tommy couldn’t hear them, but he didn’t need to. He knew how this was going to go.

Then, in an instant, the air exploded with gunfire. The tangos opened fire on the officials, and all hell broke loose. Tommy’s instincts kicked in immediately, his mind clear.

“Weapons free!” LT’s voice rang through the comms.

Tommy was already moving. “Nick! Punch that card!”

Nick, ever the sniper, wasted no time. His suppressed sniper rifle whispered death as he squeezed off rounds, taking out the five-man team of tangos with cold precision. Each body fell before they even knew what hit them.

Tommy and Jay moved in closer, their approach silent. A guard, smoking casually by his post, didn’t even have time to reach for his weapon before Tommy took him out with suppressed fire. LT and the rest of the team flanked east, coming in from the side of the building.

The air was thick with the sound of AK-47 fire, echoing through the jungle. Hostiles emerged from the underground bunker like ants, scrambling to defend their turf. The firefight was loud, chaotic, and brutal.

Through the haze of battle, Tommy’s voice came...
