Nella Praxitelis is a relationship expert – just not in her own life.
After discovering her boyfriend’s betrayal on what was meant to be a proposal night, she feels her world shatter. Heartbroken, she returns home, only to find her sister’s wedding plans in full swing.
To her dismay, the best man is Mark Marino, the striking brother of her late first love, who blames her for his brother’s heartache. Forced together by family chaos, Nella and Mark navigate wedding preparations, igniting an unexpected chemistry that neither can ignore.
As they share dance lessons and late-night talks, Nella must confront her past and the possibility of love again. Can she mend old wounds and embrace a second chance, or will lingering secrets and family drama push her to accept she’s not meant for love?

Christina Pishiris was born in London to Greek Cypriot parents who used to bribe her to go to family weddings by promising that George Michael might be there. To deal with the inevitable disappointment, she began scribbling stories on napkins and has been writing ever since. She started her career as a journalist, specialising in the TV industry, before going freelance. Her debut novel, LOVE SONGS FOR SCEPTICS, was published to high acclaim in 2020 by Simon & Schuster in the UK and Sourcebooks in the US and was shortlisted for Romantic Comedy of the Year at the RNA Romantic Novel Awards. When she’s not writing, Christina’s hobbies include compiling cheesy 80s playlists, coveting the neighbour’s cat and writing protest letters to Guerlain after they discontinued her favourite perfume.
