Sam Grabiner's viciously funny play about family, belonging and the rituals we perform with the people we love opened at the Almeida Theatre, London, in December 2025.
Sam Grabiner's debut play Boys on the Verge of Tears was produced at Soho Theatre in a production directed by James Macdonald. He is the 2024-25 Writer-in-Residence at the National Theatre Studio and is under commission at Manhattan Theatre Club. He is a MacDowell Fellow, and a graduate of the clown school L'ecole Philippe Gaulier. Alongside his theatre work, he is developing his debut feature with 2AM/BBC Films and a number of original television projects.
