James Herbert was not just Britain’s number one bestselling writer of chiller fiction, a position he held ever since publication of his first novel, but was also one of our greatest popular novelists. In 2010, he was made the Grand Master of Horror by the World Horror Convention and was also awarded an OBE by the Queen for services to literature. His final novel was Ash. James Herbert died in March 2013. Alex Jennings is well known for his TV and theatre work. His TV credits include Inspector Morse, Smiley's People, The Inspector Alleyn Mysteries and Bad Blood. His film credits include War Requiem, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Wings of the Dove and The Four Feathers. Sean Barrett's many television credits include Z Cars, Minder , Brush Strokes and Father Ted. He has appeared in the West End with Noel Coward and is a member of the BBC Radio Drama Company. His TV documentary narrations include The People's Century and he is an experienced audio book reader. Steven Pacey is well known for his role as Tarrant in the cult TV series Blake’s Seven and received critical acclaim for his performance as Stanley in The Birthday Party at the Piccadily Theatre. His other television work includes Pie in the Sky, Law and Disorder, Lovejoy and M.I.T: Murder Investigation Team. He has been prolific in radio where he has done over 300 broadcasts.
