A companion volume to 40 Years of Scream!, collecting all the Scream! specials published between 1985 and 2024 in a large-format hardback volume.
Enter our nightmare world at your peril! Following the acclaimed 40 Years of Scream!, this companion volume features previously uncollected material from the holiday specials spinning out of the main title.

From the original run in the 1980s to the latest, oversized 40th anniversary issue, this collection completes the Scream! archives with stories by veteran writers and artists Dave Gibbons, Eric Bradbury, Barrie Tomlinson and Tom Tully, as well as recent revival strips including the work of Alex Paknadel, Torunn Grønbekk, Henry Flint, and DaNi.

John Wagner John Wagner has been scripting for 2000 AD for more years than he cares to remember. His creations include Judge Dredd, Strontium Dog, Ace Trucking, Al’s Baby, Button Man and Mean Machine. Outside of 2000 AD his credits include Star Wars, Lobo, The Punisher and the critically acclaimed A History of Violence. Alan Grant With over 300 2000 AD stories to his name – not to mention over 250 Daily Star Judge Dredd strips – Alan Grant’s prolific creative record speaks for itself. Outside the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic, Grant is well-known to Batman fans following a lengthy run on various incarnations of the title. More recently he has adapted Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic novels Kidnapped and Doctor Jekyll and Mr Hyde in Graphic Novel format with artist Cam Kennedy. Barrie Tomlinson Barrie Tomlinson is a comics writer and former group editor at IPC Magazines, who has written strips including Death Wish & Turbo Jones for Wildcat. He was also involved with Roy of the Rovers, Teenage Mutants Hero Turtles and Scream!. Barrie wrote the Scorer football strip which appeared in the Daily Mirror, six days a week, for 22 years. He has written two books about his time in comics. Real Roy of the Rovers Stuff is about the work he did as Editor and Group Editor of Roy of the Rovers. Comic Book Hero is all about his work on other comics he edited. Dave Gibbons Dave Gibbons is one of 2000 AD’s most popular artists, having co-created Harlem Heroes and Rogue Trooper. He has also pencilled A.B.C. Warriors, Dan Dare, Judge Dredd, Mega-City One, Ro-Busters, Tharg the Mighty, Tharg’s Future Shocks and Time Twisters, as well as having scripted several Rogue Trooper stories – making Gibbons one of the few 2000 AD creators to have served as writer, artist and letterer! Beyond 2000 AD, Gibbons is unquestionably best known for his work on the award-winning classic Watchmen (with Alan Moore), but he has also drawn Batman, Doctor Who, Give Me Liberty, Green Lantern, Superman, Star Wars and his graphic novel, The Originals. Jesus Redondo Jesus Redondo worked on several strips for 2000 AD including Tharg’s Future Shocks, Nemesis the Warlock, M.A.C.H. 1 and Return to Armageddon. In the 1990’s he worked on Motormouth and Killpower for Marvel UK and Kitty Pryde for Marvel US. Alex Paknadel Alex Paknadel is a writer based in Lancaster, UK. Alex’s recent published work includes ALL AGAINST ALL (with Caspar Wijngaard) for Image Comics, REDFORK (with Nil Vendrell) for TKO, RED GOBLIN and IMMORTAL HULK: TIME OF MONSTERS for Marvel Comics, and KNIGHT TERRORS: THE FLASH for DC Comics. Torunn Gronbekk Torunn Grønbekk is a comic book writer and portrait painter. She is best known for her collaborations with Jason Aaron on the character of JANE FOSTER, and has since gone on to work on PUNISHER, VENOM, and CARNAGE.
