Mrs B, landlady of the Marigold Cottages, only rents to favoured tenants, and they're an eccentric (read: odd, slightly broken) bunch. Life in the cottages is peaceful though, until hulking, fresh-out-of-prison Anthony moves in and a dead body turns up.

Horrified, her tenants band together to clear her name, forming the somewhat haphazard 'Marigold Cottages Murder Collective'. But as they dig deeper and a second body is discovered, further secrets are unearthed.

Jo Nichols is the pseudonym for husband-and-wife team Joel Ross and Lee Nichols. They published over thirty books in five genres and wrote an animated series for Netflix before they sat down to write The Marigold Cottages Murder Collective, their first mystery.
