Mary Brown-Redmond, native to Texas, resides in Houston. She is one of eight siblings and highly values family. She and her husband Ernest Redmond were McDonald's franchise owners in Houston, Texas for over 30 years and are dedicated members of New Faith Church, where they worship under the leadership of her godson, Rev. Dr. Andre Jermaine Lewis. Mary was born in a small town known as Kildare in eastern Texas. She graduated from Prairie View A&M University and had an extensive career in the clinical field, serving for over 25 years. She served as president of the Ronald McDonald's House of Charities in Houston/Galveston, for six years. Currently, Mary is a certified managed care specialist. She has served on numerous boards and committees including the local Black McDonalds Owners Association, McDonalds Owners Association, McDonalds Corporation, Top Ladies of Distinction organization, and the Inspire Women Organization. She has received numerous awards including the 'Inspired Women Legacy' award and was acknowledged as one of the 'Top 30 Women of Houston' twice. Mary is an advocate for women and children's education with an outreach to ministries, specifically Christian missionaries sharing the gospel of love for all people around the world.
